The Strategic Planning Team is responsible for working with the Congregation Council and members on strategic plans, communicates strategic plans to the congregation at least annually, prioritizes strategic plans, and supports members working on each strategic plan.
The Congregation Council appoints a minimum of three members.
Strategic Planning Ministry Team & Approach
For the Strategic Planning process, ORLC started a new ministry team that will focuses on defining where Our Redeemer should be in five years. The Team focuses on our Mission and Vision statements. When needed the Team will also initiate smaller short term ministry teams to address specific points.
During our LIFT process, ORLC defined four key strategic initiatives based upon our Mission statement. The LIFT process identified several key short term steps for each of these initiatives as a beginning. To continue our progress, the Team will define strategically where ORLC will be in each of those areas five years from now, and develop a game plan on how we accomplish it.
The Team will focus on defining, based on ORLC's mission / vision statements and the four key LIFT Initiatives, where ORLC should be in five years.
