The number of youth at Our Redeemer is growing. We have a part-time Director of Youth and Family Ministries, Meghan Osborne, who leads our ministries with youth. At Our Redeemer, youth are not only the “church of the future.” They are an important part of the church today. Young people assist during worship at Our Redeemer as acolytes and crucifers. They share all kinds of gifts. We offer educational opportunities for youth from birth through high school.
Confirmation: Students entering the seventh, eight, and ninth grades may sign up for Confirmation. The
course uses an engaging, interesting curriculum called “Here We Stand.” If you are interested in the program, please talk to Pastor Drew.

Eastern Cluster LYO Rally: Mark your calendars for the annual Eastern Cluster LYO Rally on Nov 11-12th! We will be joining other youth and congregations from across eastern NC at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Southern Pines, NC for a half weekend of faith, fellowship, and fun. (Fun Fact: OSLC is your youth director's home church!) Youth and leaders will stay overnight at the church, and the next morning we will all travel to Camp Agape in Fuquay- Varina for an event called "Hike-a-thon". The cost of this event is close to nothing. See DYFM Meghan Osborne for more information. Deadline to go is October 8th.
