We Are Called...

Our mission at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is "To Be Christ to each Other and To Our Community." God gives the Holy Spirit through our baptism (Luke 3:22). The Holy Spirit equips us to live and to serve faithfully, sharing the love of Jesus Christ. Martin Luther said that every baptized Christians is a “little Christ.” We are a community of the baptized, gathered by God to spread Christ’s light in all that we say and do. By God’s grace, Jesus Christ continues to offer compassion, love and kindness through us. Our mission is meant to bring metanoia or change—change as individuals discover God’s grace and as our community in Greenville is strengthened and renewed.
